54 is enhancing its pivotal role in the progress of Saudi Arabia's burgeoning sports sector through the appointment of Almamoun Alshingiti to the role of Chief Executive Officer - Saudi Arabia.

Alshingiti, who comes from the Saudi Ministry of Sports, where he advised on numerous projects throughout the Saudi Sports ecosystem, has a formidable background in sporting investment strategy and consulting in Saudi Arabia. Earlier in his career, he was an elite athlete representing the Kingdom in multiple international competitions regionally and globally in karate.

After finishing his athletic career, he furthered his education by studying sports science and nutrition in the United States.  He then joined the private sector working across various multinational companies including Procter & Gamble, Pepsico, Dubai Holding and Emaar.

Since 2010, Alshingiti has held several senior sport leadership roles, each with the primary focus to support the development of sports in Saudi Arabia. He worked at the Ministry of Education to develop the national school sport program, was the Executive Director of Sports leading Qiddiya’s sport sector, and latterly worked in the government sports ecosystem, where he was an advisor at the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic committee.

Almamoun Alshingiti, 54 KSA CEO, said he was joining at a perfect moment in Saudi Arabia's sporting journey:

“I feel privileged and honored to be part of the 54 family as I embark on this new, exciting role to lead the Saudi business. I see the development of sports in Saudi Arabia reaching new heights day by day. The potential is endless and we live in the most exciting times for sports here.

“We will bring the best global and local talent to support us in our journey and deliver on our objectives, while ensuring we have the optimal culture that helps bring the team together like a large family. Great people led by purpose and commitment can accomplish great things.”

Abdullah Abduljabbar, Chairman of the 54 board and CEO of its majority shareholder, Sanabil Investments, said:

"I am thrilled to welcome Almamoun to the team. We are confident that under his leadership, 54 will continue to thrive and achieve new heights. For 54 to fulfil its ambitions in the MENA region, it needs an experienced and inspiring figure at the helm in KSA and Almamoun is just that person."

54 has seen a considerable uplift in clients seeking engagement across strategic advisory services at the very highest level, bridging the gap between conceptual consultancy to hands-on tactical execution, delivery of returns, and everything in between.
